YOUR ALASKA TRIP, THOUGHTFULLY PLANNED.
Alaska is one of those destinations where choosing the right itinerary really matters. From cruises through the Inside Passage to land journeys into the heart of Alaska, there are so many incredible ways to experience it.
Seattle or Vancouver? Glacier Bay or Hubbard Glacier? Cruise only or add time on land? Denali, the Alaska Railroad, or both? The choices can quickly become overwhelming.
With extensive firsthand Alaska experience, I can help you sort through the options and create an Alaska vacation that fits the way you want to travel. As your travel advisor, I'll help you choose the right cruise, land itinerary, or combination of both and bring all the pieces together.
NOT ALL ALASKA VACATIONS ARE THE SAME
Planning an Alaska vacation is about more than choosing a ship or picking a date. Different itineraries offer different ports, glacier experiences and opportunities to explore Alaska by land.
Some travelers want the ease of a round-trip cruise from Seattle. Others may prefer sailing from Vancouver, spending time in Glacier Bay, or adding a land journey to Denali, Anchorage or Fairbanks.
I’ll help you understand the differences and choose the experience that makes the most sense for you.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT ALASKA CRUISE
Alaska cruise itineraries can look similar at first glance, but there are important differences. Your departure port, glacier experience, ports of call, cruise line and time of year can all shape your vacation.
I help my clients look beyond the itinerary map and understand what those differences actually mean, so they can choose the Alaska cruise that fits them best.

SEATTLE OR VANCOUVER?
Round-trip Seattle cruises can be especially convenient, while Vancouver departures often offer different Inside Passage itineraries and cruise options. You should also consider the benefits of a one-way cruise, either northbound or southbound. Your travel plans before and after the cruise can also help determine which departure port makes the most sense. I'm happy to share my firsthand experience and help you decide which option is right for you.
GLACIER BAY OR HUBBARD GLACIER?
Both offer spectacular glacier viewing, but they are very different experiences. Some itineraries visit Glacier Bay National Park, while others feature Hubbard Glacier or another scenic glacier destination. I’ll help you understand what your itinerary includes before you choose.
WHICH CRUISE LINE?
There isn't one “best” cruise line for Alaska. Some offer a more traditional cruise experience, some are especially strong in Alaska, and others appeal to travelers looking for a more contemporary, family-friendly or upscale experience. Finding the right fit matters just as much as choosing the itinerary.
WHEN SHOULD YOU TRAVEL?
Alaska's cruise season generally runs from May through September, and each part of the season offers something a little different. Weather, daylight, wildlife, crowds and pricing can all factor into deciding when to travel. I've experienced Alaska in May, July, and September. My personal favorite time to visit is July! We had the best weather and the wildlife was spectacular!

BEYOND THE CRUISE: TRAVELING ALASKA BY LAND
For travelers who want to experience more of Alaska, adding time on land can turn a wonderful cruise into an even bigger adventure. Alaska’s interior offers a completely different perspective, with vast landscapes, incredible wildlife, scenic rail journeys and destinations such as Denali, Anchorage and Fairbanks.
A cruise and land tour can be arranged through a cruise line, or we can create a more customized itinerary based on the places and experiences that interest you most.

After three trips to Alaska, I can honestly say it’s a destination I never get tired of experiencing. The incredible scenery, glaciers, wildlife and charming coastal towns make every trip feel completely different — and there is always something new to discover.
I love using my personal experience to help my clients sort through the many options and plan a trip that’s just right for them. From choosing the cruise line and itinerary to planning time on land and finding memorable excursions, I’d be delighted to help you create an amazing Alaska adventure of your own.
